-Something from my Imagination-
Sitting under the willowsLight shining from the moonHe felt that dawn would come too soonPining for a girl so far awayWho was humming under her breathAn old theatre's playShe was richNo doubt about thatShe had plenty of siblings to protectFeeling, in the cold and freezing nightA sense of dread for a freezing boySomeone whom she really likedFourteen, the young and homeless boyWatched the smoke from her chimney riseFeeling that if he had a chanceHe would give up his very lifeThe girl ran up and down the housePicking up stuff for the poor nameless louseSweeping up blankets along the wayHiding canned food up her blouseCrashing into the willow trees The cold wind slashing against her bare skinHe whispered to the screaming windOnly when I see her again will I let you take me awayRunning up te slopeSharp grasses assaulting her bare shinsWatching the Sun start to rise in the EastIgnoring her legs' protesting screamsThe Sun beating weak rays on the groundHe gave one short look aroundSeeing although the place was now brightA single shadow kneeling on his rightEmily unfolded the blankets in her handLaying it over him in a single flap"I promise you," Was all she said, picking up his stone-cold handThe Sun shone more brightly than everAs he opened his eyesSeeing clearly for a secondThose warm brown eyesHer face worried and clouded with fearHair bundled in a messy tailAnd as she put her necklace in his handThe dripping of her silent tearsAs promised the wind blew once againOne last sigh one look aroundAnd Emily was sitting ever so alone on the groundEven though her eyes were dryHer heart was with him nowSoaring through the cloudless heavenly skies~End.:.:.
