-Something from my Imagination-

Sitting under the willows
Light shining from the moon
He felt that dawn would come too soon
Pining for a girl so far away
Who was humming under her breath
An old theatre's play

She was rich
No doubt about that
She had plenty of siblings to protect
Feeling, in the cold and freezing night
A sense of dread for a freezing boy
Someone whom she really liked

Fourteen, the young and homeless boy
Watched the smoke from her chimney rise
Feeling that if he had a chance
He would give up his very life

The girl ran up and down the house
Picking up stuff for the poor nameless louse
Sweeping up blankets along the way
Hiding canned food up her blouse

Crashing into the willow trees
The cold wind slashing against her bare skin
He whispered to the screaming wind
Only when I see her again will I let you take me away

Running up te slope
Sharp grasses assaulting her bare shins
Watching the Sun start to rise in the East
Ignoring her legs' protesting screams

The Sun beating weak rays on the ground
He gave one short look around
Seeing although the place was now bright
A single shadow kneeling on his right

Emily unfolded the blankets in her hand
Laying it over him in a single flap
"I promise you,"
Was all she said, picking up his stone-cold hand

The Sun shone more brightly than ever
As he opened his eyes
Seeing clearly for a second
Those warm brown eyes

Her face worried and clouded with fear
Hair bundled in a messy tail
And as she put her necklace in his hand
The dripping of her silent tears

As promised the wind blew once again
One last sigh one look around
And Emily was sitting ever so alone on the ground
Even though her eyes were dry
Her heart was with him now
Soaring through the cloudless heavenly skies
